Talking back to their teachers

And giving them some lip.

These paintings are memories of dead things

Long toothed mammoths eating grass

Sharp toothed meat eating Saber’s

Whose souls have long since passed.

Children have no wish for adventure

Prisoners of their computer screens

Instead of admiring the beauty of these caves

And grass that was once green.

This is such a different world now

Since our kind came and won

Making extinct these long dead humans

From our home of a green sun.
