Poem by Bhisma Upreti
Gratefulness
These eyes,
look all the beautifulness of the
world and enjoy with their colors.
These ears,
listen the Mantra like great words
from where the great words reach in the human heart
touching the waves of sounds.
These legs,
without exhaustion walk ups and downs,
and reach the temple, school, and workplace,
more than that rich till to you.
This tongue,
knows different tastes,
and praises the tastiest.
Wow!
These hands:
Clean the dirt, work
play music,
write poetry, and
draw the picture that I loved much.
I am meditating,
what I have invested
being those all things to me?
what I have sacrificed?
I am truly grateful to the creator
those who gave me,
these all invaluable gifts
without any cost.
