Poem by Rajorshi Patranabis
No Title
Black rivets into craveless dichotomy Lumps scum creepy Fumbles of desperate despair Dark craters past White screams into breathless defection Froths freeze awry Smiles of cleansed catalysis Whisks swing in harmony Crimson goes to sleep Blue mates yellow Bed smells of smoked liplock Green sports love Your brown painted my misty canvas My life dreams to live

Rajorshi Patranabis is a multilingual poet, translator and editor delving into myriad forms of poetry. A food consultant by profession, and a Wiccan, by philosophy, his collections boast of supernatural and metaphysical love poems( Crossover-love beyond eternity), sonnets(Pregnant), haiku(Solstice ), ghazals in English with a pen name Kafir( Through your Eyes), poems of love in Bengali(Feriwala) and a couple of Assamese translation projects( Nirjon Soikot-Luit Hooghly, Ramp) and quite a few publications in national and international journals and anthologies. His last project included Shaktirupen, which is a collection of 30 sonnets about some known and unknown women characters of Ramayan and Mahabharat. His next project in pipeline is Palette, which is a collection of haibun.
